How to get there
By Air:
Prague International Airport - Ruzyne has daily flights from almost all European capitol cities. Many of low-cost flights are available (skyeurope.com, easyjet.com, sterling.dk, brusselsairlines.com, click4sky.com, germanwings.com, ryanair.com, bmibaby.com). Please check the website: www.prg.aero/en.
To and from the airport:
Ruzyne - Prague Airport is an international airport located on the northwest edge of Prague and around 17 km north of the city. All international flights arrive here. The journey from airport to city centre takes around 30 minutes, or around 50 minutes by public transport. There is no train or subway at the airport.
- Taxi - the easiest way to get from Prague Airport to a hotel is by taxi. You will find taxis outside of all terminals. The average taxi price to the centre is around 650 CZK/25 Euro. We recommended that you settle on a price before you take the taxi. All drivers should be able to speak English.
- Shuttle service between the airport and the city centre. White minibuses have a regular timetable with half-hour intervals from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. from downtown (Hotel Marriott, V Celnici St.) to the airport and from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from the airport to downtown. The service is operated by CEDAZ Ltd. For the location of the shuttle stop see the map. It's roughly a 20 minute walk from the Library or listed hotels.
Prices are following from or to the airport:- 120 CZK - a single ticket valid for one-way journey (airport< > V Celnici St.)
- 480 CZK - one way to hotels or to any address in Prague (outside of timetable)
- Public transport: Bus service linking with metro stations (green line - A) leaves every 10 minutes. To go to the city centre, take the bus No. 190 direction Dejvická (bus stop is outside terminal 1), get off on the last stop, which is metro station "Dejvická" > change for metro and go to the "Staroměstská" station - you can see "Staroměstská" station on the map we have prepared. From here follow the map on the way to your hotel. The price for the whole trip is 26 CZK/1 Euro which you pay for the bus ticket (it is valid for 1 hour). Please see the public transport website.
By Bus
The main bus station (called Florenc) is located in the center of the city. The station is within walking distance of the city centre and the hotels listed above (approximately 20 minutes). Alternatively, you can choose to travel by metro - there is a metro station "Florenc" directly at the bus station (left side of the station building):
- 1st option: take the metro (red line C) to "Muzeum" station, you have to change here for green line A and go to "Staroměstská" station. From "Staroměstská" follow our map.
- 2nd option: from the "Florenc" metro station take yellow line B to "Můstek" station and follow our map. The public transport ticket is valid for 1 hour and costs 26CZK/1 Euro. Route plan is here.

There are two train stations with international connections - Main Station Prague (Praha Hlavní nádraí) and Praha - Holeovice.
Prague Main Station is very close to the city centre. The station is within walking distance of the library and the hotels listed above (approx. 20 minutes). Alternatively you have 2 options to get to the hotels or the venue:
- take the tram No. 9, which takes you to the "Národní třída" station, from this point follow our map. The tram station is on the right outside of the train station building.
